Deputy City Clerk

Job Description:

The City of Farmington is accepting applications for Deputy City Clerk.  Salary range: $44,320 – $46,536 DOQ/E; includes benefits and pension plan.  Primary responsibilities include assisting the city clerk in administering voter registration, elections, record retention systems, licensing and registration systems, human resources, and as recording secretary.  Reports to City Clerk.  Minimum requirements include: (1) High school diploma or GED; associates degree with courses in general office practices and records management preferred, and (2) two years increasingly responsible experience in local government clerk’s office with specialized training in administering elections and as recording secretary, or (3) an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be highly productive, knowledgeable, personable, self-directed and detail oriented.

Job Compensation

$44,320 – 46,536
