Bicentennial Timeline Mural Unveiled
The City of Farmington was honored to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil our Bicentennial Timeline, celebrating 200 years of rich history, community spirit, and growth. The timeline can be found under new twinkling lights in the alley between Fresh Thyme and Salon Suites. The mural was designed by local artist Carl Johnson of Saint Creative, with input from local historian Brian Golden and Councilwoman Maria Taylor. AND THANK YOU to Oakland County, Michigan Government for a grant to make this public art project possible.
The timeline showcases Farmington’s journey from its humble beginnings to the vibrant town we know today. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special moment and to those who worked tirelessly to bring this project to life.
Here’s to remembering the past and looking forward to the future! #Farmington200
