On Sunday, Feb. 1, the City’s Department of Public Works (DPW) is responding to multiple water main breaks this morning. As of Monday, Feb. 2 the Lilac Street repair is complete, but the 10 Mile and Orchard Lake area still has limited water. 

• 10 Mile & Orchard Lake Road:
Water service is limited in this area while crews make repairs. At this time, we do not have an estimated restoration time, but DPW is actively working on the issue.

• Floral Park Neighborhood (Lilac):
A separate water main break is also being addressed on Lilac Street near Shiawassee.

When water service is restored, some residents may notice discolored (brown) water. If this occurs, please run COLD water only until it runs clear.
