Farmington calls for Founders Festival Parade Grand Marshal nominations

As Farmington marks its 200th anniversary, the community is preparing to celebrate this monumental milestone with the annual Founders Festival Parade. This year, in honor of our city’s bicentennial, we are seeking nominations for an individual who exemplifies the spirit of Farmington be Grand Marshal.

The Bicentennial Founders Festival will be July 18 – 20. The parade will be Saturday, July 20 at 10 a.m. https://foundersfestival.com/

The Founders Festival Grand Marshal is an honorary position awarded to a person who has made significant contributions to the community, shown outstanding service, or been a pivotal part of Farmington’s growth and development.

Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by another person by filling out nomination form and submitting it to the City Manager’s Office by Friday, June 1, 2024.
