Riley Park Ice Rink is open TODAY - Friday, Jan. 20. This is a free public rink, hours are 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. seven days a week. We do not have skate rentals, but on Monday, Dec. 23 we will have some skates out for people to borrow. Mitten Sports has donated their time and resources to sharpen all of our skates. THANK YOU!!!! Ring in the New Year at Riley Park Ice Rink

The Riley Park Ice Rink will host two ball drops for New Year's Eve:

• A family ball drop at 9 p.m. in the Sundquist Pavilion (ticketed event), and
• A midnight ball drop over the Riley Park Ice Rink (free)

Also on New Year's Eve, the Riley Park Ice Rink committee will host a family-friendly New Year’s Eve Skate: Wizards vs. Superheroes from 7:30–9:30 p.m. Dress up as your favorite wizard or superhero and hit the ice! Please note this is an advanced-ticket event; no tickets will be sold at the door.

 Fun for all ages includes:

• Scavenger hunt
• Visit from Professor Pemberton’s Wands & Accoutrements, showcasing magical items like spell books, enchanted wands, and leather journals.
• 9 p.m. ball drop
• Fun treat and prizes

Riley Park Ice Rink is celebrating 10 years. It’s located in the heart of Downtown Farmington, transforming Riley Park into a festive winter destination each year. The 4,800-square-foot refrigerated rink, measuring 80 by 40 feet, typically opens in mid-December, weather permitting, and operates through the winter season. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged to help cover maintenance costs. While skate rentals aren't available, the rink does offer some donated skates for use.

The rink is open daily with hours from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Special events, such as themed holiday skates, add to the excitement throughout the season.
