Job Description
The Farmington Civic Theater is hiring for a part-time position.
Looking for approachable people with a service-with-a-smile attitude and the ability to undertake job duties without hand-holding. You’ll be working at the historic Farmington Civic Theater in Downtown Farmington.
The theater’s been around for eighty-four years because its employees have the right stuff. It’s been voted the Best Movie Theater in metro Detroit in the past seven Vote 4 the Best contests.
Applicants should expect to work box office, concessions counter, operate projection system, and clean theaters between movies. A willingness to take on some janitor shifts is a plus. It’s a fun place to work.
$12.60 per hour.
Must be at least 18 years of age or completed all high school graduation requirements. Able to lift up to fifty pounds and navigate stairs quickly and regularly.
Flexible availability is looked for, including weekends. Shifts typically can start in the 12:30pm-1:30pm range and end by 10:30pm, but could end as late as midnight. During busy times, including during holiday periods, shifts may start earlier. Shifts can range between three hours and twelve hours.
