Early Voting
Early voting allows registered voters to cast a ballot in person before Election Day. The experience is similar to voting at an Election Day polling location: voters receive a ballot, complete it privately, and insert it directly into a tabulator.

Need to Register or Update Your Address?
Voter registration is not available at the Costick Activities Center early voting site.
Within 14 days of an election, residents must register in person at the City Clerk’s Office and provide proof of residency.
What to Expect
1. Check In
An election inspector will confirm your registration and issue the correct ballot.
2. Mark Your Ballot
Complete your ballot privately, just as you would at an Election Day polling location.
3. Tabulate Your Ballot
Insert your completed ballot directly into the tabulator. Your vote is cast before you leave the site.

Photo Identification
Voters should bring an acceptable photo ID. .
Accessible Voting
Early voting sites offer accessible voting equipment and curbside voting. Contact the City Clerk’s Office if you need assistance or an accommodation.
Voting an Absent Voter Ballot at an Early Voting Site
Voters may bring their completed absent voter ballot to an assigned early voting site and, after verification by an election inspector, insert the ballot directly into the tabulator.
If you received an absent voter ballot but would rather vote a new ballot at the early voting site, bring the unvoted ballot with you to surrender it. Election inspectors will provide a new ballot after completing the required verification.
Early Voting Precinct Canvass
The precinct canvass of early votes for Regional Early Voting Site No. 5 will take place on Election Day at 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Farmington Hills City Hall, 31555 W. Eleven Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48336.
