2024 Leaf Collection

The City of Farmington's annual curbside leaf collection is slated to begin October 28, 2024.

Important reminders:

  • Each area is scheduled for TWO (2) pick-ups. 
  • The program is not designated to remove all leaves; IT IS A SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRAM TO THE WEEKLY YARD WASTE COLLECTION ONLY.  
  • Leaves should be raked to the curb no sooner than 48 hours before the scheduled date.  Any earlier may cause drainage and traffic problems.
  • LEAVES SHOULD NOT BE RAKED INTO THE STREET.  AREAS WITH MULTIPLE CONSECUTIVE COLLECTION DAYS SHOULD PUT THEIR LEAVES OUT BY THE FIRST DAY AS LEAF CREWS MAY NOT BE RETURNING EACH DAY.
  • The weeks when there is no pick-up scheduled, leaves should be placed in proper bags or in labeled yard waste containers for collection by Waste Management (WM).
  • All vehicles must be parked on private property between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on scheduled collection days; otherwise, leaves will not be picked up if access is blocked.
  • This schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors; any revisions will be posted.
